Assessment fee
400 EURO / student
(the amount is payable at the BNR exchange rate on the day of payment).
*Payment of this evaluation fee does not guarantee the student’s enrolment in LTSM programmes; the school may refuse admission if the special educational conditions required by the minor/student are not available.
Admission criteria
TESTED SUBJECTS (WRITTEN TEST)
- Communication in Romanian
- Mathematics and Environmental Exploration
- English Language
- Psychosomatic Testing
Grades 1 – 4
Admission is conditional on obtaining a minimum GOOD (BINE) grade in each evaluated subject.Psychosomatic testing is eliminatory.
Preparatory Class (CP)
Students who have achieved more than half of the targeted competencies in each subject (half + 1) are accepted.For English, a minimum grade of Well/Good is required.
Psychosomatic Testing
Interview with one of the school counselors (eliminatory stage).

The evaluation lasts approximately 3 hours. A minimum grade of 7 is required for each subject.
Cambridge Equivalence
- Grade 5: YLE Flyers (min. 11 shields)
- Grade 6: KET diploma
Cambridge Equivalence
- Grade 7: PET diploma
- Grade 8: PET or FCE diploma
GRADE 9
1. National Evaluation average between 9.00 and 10:
- Interview with the school Counsellor
- CAT4 cognitive abilities assessment
2. Average below 9.00 or enrolment prior to EN:
- Written test: Romanian, Maths, English (Real Profile); Romanian, English (Humanities Profile)
- Equivalency: English test may be substituted with Cambridge PET or FCE
- School Counsellor interview
- CAT4: Minimum result of 100 points
Additional Criteria: Behavioral grade (Y5-Y8): 10; Min. EN score: 7.50; Min. admission average: 8.
GRADES 10-12
- Real Profile: Romanian, Maths, 3rd BAC subject
- Humanities Profile: Romanian, History, English, 3rd BAC subject
- Interview and CAT4 testing (min. 100 points)
GENERAL CRITERIA
Behavioral grade in all school years: 10
Min. admission average: 8
*If the number of candidates exceeds available places, the principle of the hierarchy of the best results is applied.
- Score of 5.00 in Checkpoint exams and/or average above 9 in the National Evaluation
- Score above 100 points in the CAT4 assessment
- Behavioral grade of 10 in previous school years
- Score of 5.00 in Checkpoint / average above 9 in National Evaluation
- Score above 100 points in the CAT4 assessment
- English test or Cambridge PET certification
- Compatibility with LTSM philosophy, ethos, and values
- Behavioral grade of 10 or positive references from the previous school
- Score above 100 points in the CAT4 assessment
- Interview with the Director of LTSM International
- ✕ The special educational needs requested by the student cannot be met;
- ✕ The English language level does not meet the required standards;
- ✕ The student and parents do not agree with the school rules and do not adhere to school values;
- ✕ Any other reason considered valid by the school;
- ✕ It is established during the enrolment process that there is no compatibility between the student and the school.
