The high school curriculum focuses on developing functional skills essential for successful integration into both national and international university environments, through an educational programme centred on interdisciplinarity and academic excellence.
EDUCATIONAL AIMS

Investigative instruction causes students to develop the skills to research the information they need for intellectual development. Liceul Teoretic Școala Mea encourages high school students to approach reflective learning, which involves building their own system of analysis and creation, the ultimate goal being the acquisition of intellectual autonomy of complete and complex knowledge.

LTSM develops students’ ability to process the information they accumulate by helping them to identify, understand, and make logical connections between their own ideas and arguments, detect reasoning errors in arguments and debates, and build and perceive the justifications behind opinions or beliefs.

Respecting different opinions is a principle that LTSM students learn through contact with various cultures by joining our programs, organized in collaboration with schools in different countries.

Liceul teoretic Școala Mea proposes the development of the entrepreneurial spirit of its students through various entrepreneurial education programs:

  • “My Parent, My Hero” – entrepreneurial education program that involves parents;
  • Community learning programs, by organizing extracurricular activities supported by partners in various fields of economic activity (Financial education programs supported by banking institutions, Volunteer Programs or Fundraising Events).

Education for social responsibility guarantees the social integration of the personality of the educated throughout his existence. An important component of it is moral education, which determines the formation of personality through civic values such as: autonomy, internal motivation to perform actions, human solidarity, valuing integrity, etc.
Cultural education provides awareness, knowledge and competence and thus promotes communication and cooperation in the community. The programs of Liceul Teoretic Școala Mea use the cultural and social concept as an indispensable element in the instructive processes, as follows:
The Peer Mentoring Program and the Student Council, cohesion programs of the LTSM student community, through which they share educational and cultural experiences and initiate and practice the formation of community leadership skills.
LTSM students are regularly involved in internal volunteer activities aimed at supporting charitable projects. These take place through traditional events: Drama Week, Cup of Good Hope, Christmas Fair, Talent Show.

SCHOOL DAY

In the month of June of each year, the school anniversary is celebrated with non-formal educational activities with a special dress code.

1st OF DECEMBER

Romania’s National Day is celebrated at Liceul Teoretic Școala Mea through a variety of themed activities and contests, including video collages, a fashion parade featuring costumes created by students or outfits accessorised with traditional Romanian elements, a photo competition entitled “Romania MEA in an Image”, a general knowledge quiz about Romania’s history, and folk dances with special guests. The event is made even more special by the active involvement of parents from the PTA (Parent–Teacher Association).

CHALLENGE DAY

The Challenge Day programme, dedicated to preparatory classes, consists of fun competitions in which students team up with their parents. These activities take place within the school and last for approximately 50–60 minutes. Beyond their recreational nature, the programme provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen the parent–child bond and to help parents connect with their child’s teachers in a relaxed, non-formal environment. The purpose of the event is to foster meaningful parent–child relationships and to build mutual trust between parents, children, and teachers.

HALLOWEEN PARTY

Liceul Teoretic Școala Mea marks this international occasion with activities that inspire collaboration and creativity, while moving away from the traditional spooky themes. The day features engaging learning experiences — from team relays and friendly competitions to imaginative scenarios — bringing joy, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of community to the celebration.

DRAGOBETE

On this day, students are invited to write letters expressing appreciation, love, sympathy, or admiration for their peers, teachers, or support staff and place them in the school’s mailbox. These heartfelt messages are then delivered to their recipients by the “Cupid Team,” made up of high school students.

The activity aims to celebrate and raise awareness of “Dragobete,” the Romanian counterpart to Valentine’s Day, while fostering meaningful connections within the school community.

ANTI-BULLYING DAY

Every year on 28 February, LTSM marks Anti-Bullying Day with meaningful activities through which students and teachers celebrate the positive aspects of their relationships and collectively say “YES” to non-violence. The programme promotes kindness, respect and inclusion, encouraging our community to stand together, speak up and model the behaviours that make our school a safe and supportive environment for all.

SPRING FAIR

Primary school students, supported by their parents and high school peers, create and sell handmade products, decorations, and culinary treats inspired by spring and Easter themes. The festive atmosphere is further enriched by artistic performances from primary school students, sports workshops, and engaging activity corners.

The first edition of the event was dedicated to supporting refugees from Ukraine through the associations “Șansa Ta” and “Dragoste Desculță”, and it welcomed the participation of refugee children cared for by the “Nightingales” Association.
