Application Process and Calendar

Who can apply?

The LTSM and LTSM International scholarship programs are aimed at students from outside the school community who demonstrate outstanding academic results, active involvement, and exemplary behavior. To be eligible, students must meet the criteria set out in the Scholarship Regulations.

How can I apply?

To apply, please follow the steps below:

Meet the eligibility criteria according to the Scholarship Regulation.
Write an application letter in English (maximum 700 words) on the topic: “Describe your personal goals and discuss the obstacles or difficulties that must be overcome to achieve them.”

Categories of Scholarship Awards

HIGH PERFORMANCE SCHOLARSHIPS

GRADE IX

Grade 10 in the LTSM Admission Testing for: Romanian Language, Mathematics, and English Language

Grade 10 in the National Evaluation Exam

And the following cumulative conditions:

The CAT4 testing score (cognitive abilities test) must exceed the school population average by 70%.
First Prizes at the national stages of Olympiads or national/international technical-scientific school competitions in: Mathematics, Romanian, History, Geography, Logic, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
A comprehensive portfolio of exam results and extracurricular activities.

GRADE X

External Students:

Grade 10 in the LTSM testing:

• REAL Profile: Romanian, Maths, English, 3rd BAC subject.
• HUMANITIES Profile: Romanian, History, English, 3rd BAC subject.
• CAT4 score exceeding the school population average by 70%.

LTSM Students:

Grade 10 (GPA) upon graduating Grade 9.

And the following cumulative conditions:

First Prizes at the national stages of Olympiads or national/international technical-scientific school competitions (Maths, Romanian, History, Geography, Logic, Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
A comprehensive portfolio of exam results and extracurricular activities.

GRADE XI

External Students:

Grade 10 in the LTSM testing:

• REAL Profile: Romanian, Maths, English, 3rd BAC subject.
• HUMANITIES Profile: Romanian, History, English, 3rd BAC subject.
• CAT4 score exceeding the school population average by 70%.

LTSM Students:

Grade 10 (GPA) upon graduating Grade 10 AND 3 (three) IGCSE exams with A*.

And the following cumulative conditions:

First Prizes at the national stages of Olympiads or national/international technical-scientific school competitions (Maths, Romanian, History, Geography, Logic, Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
A comprehensive portfolio of exam results and extracurricular activities.

GRADE XII

External Students:

Grade 10 in the LTSM testing:

• REAL Profile: Romanian, Maths, English, 3rd BAC subject.
• HUMANITIES Profile: Romanian, History, English, 3rd BAC subject.
• CAT4 score exceeding the school population average by 70%.

LTSM Students:

Grade 10 (GPA) upon graduating Grade 11 AND 3 (three) AS exams with A*.

Study Scholarship — for students enrolled at LTSM who meet all the criteria below

Study scholarships are awarded to students enrolled at LTSM who simultaneously meet the following conditions:

Average monthly income per family member over the last 3 months of no more than 3,000 RON

Overall GPA from the previous school year above 9.50 and a grade of 10 in conduct

At least 1st Place at the municipal stage of national school olympiads or competitions in one of the following subjects: Romanian language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics

Social Aid Scholarships

70%

of the annual tuition fee
Social Aid Scholarship - granted to students from the categories below

Orphaned Students Students who have lost one or both parents

Students with Serious Illness Students suffering from conditions requiring costly treatment that places the family budget under financial strain with regard to tuition fees
